Raul Gardini's dream to win the America's Cup was shared by many
important people in business, yacht design, yacht building and racing. It's a
dream that has captivated the best sailors for 155 years. Raul Gardini seemed to
be ahead of his
time in energy technology. Along with restoring his famous Il Moro we hope to
learn more about him.
Our story is the restoration of Il Moro the
America's Cup Challenger for the enjoyment of pure sailing, racing and,
the collection of the fascinating story of the passionate, imaginative, skilled
people who created and lived this adventure.
Many sailing
enthusiasts love Il Moro di Venezia as the most beautiful of the IACC
yachts.
