Il Moro is at Ventura Harbor Boatyard being prepared for painting to the original Awlgrip colors: hull, bottom and, deck. The hull will be all the same red color by using special bottom paint color matched to the topsides. The mast, boom, standing rigging will also be renovated. Ventura Harbor Boatyard does concourse work. Ventura Marina is wonderful. No stress or pretense like LA. It's real folks doing real work.

Dennis and Hugh are making plans for the racing season before going to Margarita Cantina for sunset:

"Hugh, so, where do we put the BBQ? Usually it goes on the aft stanchion. Where're the stanchions"?

"Dennis, I'm telling you from experience, they never have Rabbit starts in the America's Cup races. The committee boat is always there."

Hugh and Dennis are anticipating anchoring off Laguna Beach so they can take the launch in to the beach to pick up some girls. John did that all the time with his yacht. Aaaah, there's no anchor. By the way, where do we put the shore launch?

"So, I told Dennis (Conner) his strategy wouldn't work. But, he did it anyway. That's why the Auld Mug went south or, west or, south west. Nevertheless, he got it back and used this boat to train with in Hawai'i."
